Photograph: Alan BetsonA man in his 70s was hospitalised after being assaulted during an aggravated burglary, during which four people were falsely imprisoned in Monkstown, in Co Dublin, on Monday morning.
At about 8.15pm, a number of men dressed as workers knocked on the door of a house on Carrickbrennan Lawn.One man was transferred to St Vincent’s University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted during the incident.
