Brock Glenn has decommitted from Ohio State, but the Buckeyes have a potential replacement in mind to be their quarterback for the 2023 class.

While Glenn's departure leaves the Buckeyes without a quarterback in the 2023 class, his decommitment appears to be a mutual parting of ways. Glenn wasn't nearly as impressive at the Elite 11 competition this summer as fellow quarterback target, who decided to stay committed to Baylor. He followed that up by completing 58 percent of his passes and averaging 141.3 yards per game in his senior season for Lausanne Collegiate School , in which he threw 18 touchdowns and three interceptions.
Ohio State has already been looking at other options, as quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis visited four-star South Dakota signal-caller, a Washington commit, earlier this fall during the Buckeyes' off week. With Glenn no longer in the fold, Ohio State now appears to be targeting Kienholz as his replacement, and the Buckeyes could push for a flip as soon as this weekend when Kienholz makes an official visit to Columbus for the Michigan game.
Kienholz helped lead Pierre High School to a state championship this season, completing 66.5 percent of his passes for 3,422 yards and 46 touchdowns to six interceptions. As a runner, Kienholz ran for 1,435 yards with 24 rushing touchdowns. Kienholz does not yet hold an Ohio State offer, but it wouldn’t be a surprise to see that come sooner than later now that Glenn has decommitted.
