From power players in politics to men in the streets, France definitely has a problem with women that needs to be addressed, writes NabilaRamdani

Just imagine trying to fight the most grotesque forms of– from harassment to lethal violence – while Brigitte Bardot and Catherine Deneuve were on the offensive.

At the same time, Deneuve was among 100 prominent women who signed an open letter condemning #MeToo as a puritanical “witch-hunt” against men. One aspect of the original Deneuve letter that I found particularly disturbing was the suggestion that those who– or “bothering” to use the euphemism – should just get over it.

Even teenagers and young schoolgirls were among those being touched up. It was common to see them being stalked by grinning perverts who acted with impunity.
