Frantic search for missing Irishwoman Martha Osaro after flat in Madrid found 'turned upside down'
A frantic search continued in Spain on Monday night for a missing Irish woman whose flat was found “turned upside down” in Madrid.
“I’ve checked on their Facebook and Instagram to see where they tagged and go frequently so I went around those areas and where they live. But Martha is still missing and both were last together in a bar in the La Latina area of the city – similar to Dublin’s Temple Bar – last Thursday. Both siblings work in finance. Jennifer said: “I found one twin, I found Mary, I can not disclose how I found her or where I found her.“Just keep praying and keep hoping we’ll find the other twin.”
It is understood one line officers are exploring is whether the young women were drugged and targeted while out socialising. In a video posted on Facebook, Jennifer said she believes someone is withholding information about her missing younger sister. Another police source said the area the twins were last seen in would be quite safe although there are “dodgy” districts only minutes away. He added: “The area Latina is full of bars and is quite safe but a neighbouring district called Lavapies is dangerous at night. It is only a two-minute walk away from Latina.Jennifer first alerted the public that both her sisters had gone missing on Facebook yesterday morning. She said: “I need your help.
