Freddie Flintoff's son has said the Preston-born presenter is 'lucky to be alive' after a crash during filming for BBC's Top Gear
Corey, 16,“It was a pretty nasty crash. It is shocking. We are all shocked but just hope he’s going to be okay.”A spokesperson said crew medics attended the scene immediately, with Freddie taken to hospital for further treatment. They said more details would be confirmed ‘in due course’.
Former cricketer Freddie joined Top Gear as a host in 2019, and co-stars in the show with Paddy McGuinness and Chris Harris.
