If you have a mate called Ian, they could be your ticket to a free drink
One pub in Greater Manchester is getting into the spooky season in a rather unusual way. The Holts Arms at Billinge are celebrating the Halloween weekend by giving out a free drink this weekend - but there’s a catch.
In a rather amusing play on words, Holts Arms - The Foot is serving up free pints on the condition that you bring someone called Ian. Get it? The Wigan pub took to Facebook to lay down the rules for the return of Hallow-Ian. In their post, they said: “It's that time of year again! From Friday 27th through to Tuesday 31st October it's time to did out your Ian and bring him to The Foot to claim your free drink.”
