A Nottingham woman is set to appear on Channel 4's Married at First Sight UK. Shona, who says she won't hold back from speaking her mind, will feature on the latest series of the hit reality show, it was announced on Tuesday, September 5.

At 36 episodes, it will be the largest series to date and the show’s longest ever run. The premise sees couples make a lifelong commitment to one another at a wedding ceremony. They then embark on a honeymoon, before moving in with each other as well as all the other couples. Each couple is given the chance to switch partners at recurring commitment ceremonies throughout the series.In a preview for Married at First Sight, Shona from Nottingham is described: "Shona won’t hold back from speaking her mind. Unruffled by outside judgement, Shona describes herself as a true free spirit and recently got into spirituality and Yoga.

"She has everything going for her: a great job, her own home, and a wonderful family. There’s only one thing missing - a husband! After a number of failed relationships, Shona is eager to enlist the help of the experts to break the cycle of whirlwind flings, once and for all."
