Overall, the large brands – Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Chanel, Hermès, Cartier and Dior – were rewarded with healthy sales, while smaller luxury brands lost a spring in their step, outmatched by name recognition, deep pockets, supply chain issues and stalled retail-store traffic.
