Matthew Daulby's friends are raising money for kits which could help others

A group of friends are raising money for bleed control kits to be installed in Liverpool music venues in memory of Matthew Daulby.

The group added via a GoFundMe fundraiser that Matthew was due to start a management course at the time of his death and was looking forward to a holiday in Ibiza. For the Record said donations to the fundraiser would be given to the Daniel Baird Foundation - a charity set up by the family of a young man who was fatally stabbed in Birmingham - which would then arrange the bleed control kits.

Lancashire Constabulary were called to Railway Road, Ormskirk, shortly after 12am on July 29 where they found Matthew with stab injuries. He later died in hospital and a post-mortem examination established his cause of death was a stab wound.
