Frisco PD seek men in robberies, theft
Three incidents occurred at retailers Saturday and Monday and police believe two of the crimes were committed by the same man.Susan McFarlandFrisco police are searching for two men who committed recent theft and robberies at local retailers. All three incidents involved a man who tried to snatch a purse from a woman, one successfully; two women suffered minor injuries.
“The victim immediately yelled for assistance, and a good Samaritan near the front door observed the subject running toward her with the victim’s purse. Out of instinct, she stuck her arm out and grabbed the purse from the suspect and was knocked to the floor in the process,” according to aPolice describe the suspect, who fled the location, as a short Hispanic male wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and white shoes. The woman who grabbed the purse from the suspect suffered minor injuries.
This time, a woman was loading purchases into her car when a pickup pulled up next to her. The woman told police a man got out from the passenger side, grabbed her purse out of a shopping cart and got back in the truck which then sped away. About six minutes later, police were called to the H-E-B parking lot at 4800 Main Street about a man who tried to grab a woman’s purse. The caller told police the man pulled the woman to the ground because the purse was looped around her neck.
