Frisco police say officers who chased, tased man who later died followed department policy
Updated at 5:58 p.m. with information from Frisco police about when the officers were allowed to return to duty.
The two officers, whose names have not been released, are 12- and seven-year veterans of the department. They were placed on paid administrative leave after the Sept. 14 incident but were allowed to return to full duty on Oct. 4, police said. Genesis Hicks, 26, died Sept. 29, 2022 more than two weeks after he was tased by Frisco police during a chase, fell and hit his head.
