FSAI issue urgent warning as three allergens detected in popular health food product
Irish consumers have been warned by the Food Safety Authority over a popular healthy food product that does not list three allergens in the ingredients.Officials say that nuts were detected in batches of True Natural Goodness Garlic Sticks with pack size 250g and best-before dates: March 10 2024 to April 16 2024 inclusive. This may make the implicated batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts, soya, and/ or sesame.
The garlic sticks - which are supposed to be nut free - were manufactured in a factory that handles peanuts, soya, and sesame seeds, according to the product's label.
