FSG appoint Hans Leitert as their head of global goalkeeping as Liverpool process underway
Fenway Sports Group have appointed Hans Leitert as their head of global goalkeeping - with the new arrival already having started the process of recruiting a head goalkeeping coach at Liverpool.
The 51-year-old, who held a similar role with Red Bull's football group for five-and-a-half years, has been working for Liverpool for the last six years as a goalkeeping scouting consultant.READ MORE: Slot to unleash Liverpool £304m investment after FSG shocked by manager plan His appointment is the latest move from FSG as they move towards a multi-club model. Julian Ward has returned as technical director while Pedro Marques has been named director of football development.
Hughes has brought with him Mark Burchill, who will work alongside Liverpool's chief scout Barry Hunter and their head of recruitment Dave Fallows, while David Woodfine - the Reds' former heard of loan pathways - will re-join as Hughes's assistant less than a year after departing Anfield.
