A GoFundMe for an Irish American mother shot dead by her retired NYPD husband in a horrific murder-suicide has raised hundreds of thousands of euros.
Sean had previously worked as a detective with the NYPD's joint terrorism task force. Arlene’s three young sons, who were aged between 11 and 15, were at home during the horrific incident but thankfully were not physically harmed, GalwayBeo reports. Social media users have also updated their profile images with a green heart sporting 'Arlene' beneath in remembrance.
