Ben's mum Felix and his sister are set to fly out to the island
Benjamin Ross, known as Ben, has not spoken to his mum Felix since July 10. The 26-year-old, from the Golborne area, had travelled to Palma on the Spanish island to visit a friend, taking a break from studying to become a barrister in Manchester.
According to the organiser of the fundraiser - which Go Fund Me says has been verified - donations raised will pay towards the cost of flights for Ben's mum sister, as well as their accomodation and expenses in Majorca as they try to track him down. “Like any mother, no matter what age your children are, they are still your children", Felix said. "I just need to know my son is safe and well. The last few days have been torture.
Ben had travelled to Majorca last month to visit a friend. He decided to extend his stay and move into a temporary rental after finding a local job, his mum said.
