Dean Maguire, 29, Graham Taylor, 31, and 26-year-old Carl Freeman died after the BMW car they were travelling in smashed head-on into a lorry after they drove up the wrong side of the N7 last Wednesday night.Maguire's funeral will take place on Friday at Priory Church in Tallaght Village at 11am mass before being brought to Newlands Cross Cemetery.
Freeman's funeral will take place on Monday, also at Saint Aidian's Church, Jobstown before his burial at Newlands Cemetery.The three bodies were formally identified over the weekend through DNA after the car they were in exploded in the crash last Wednesday night. But just a few minutes later, at around 11.40pm, the car smashed into a truck in a head-on collision on the N7 near the Rathcoole exit in Dublin.The driver of the truck was left with serious leg injuries, but is recovering.A spokesman said: “Gardai are appealing for anyone with information to contact them. In particular, any witnesses who may have seen a dark blue BMW 3 Series vehicle in the areas of Belgard, Citywest or the N7 between 11.15pm – 12.00am are asked to come forward.
