As the Glasgow Times reported last week, Father Henry Parkinson died peacefully at age 91, in his Glasgow home.The reception will take place at Saint Michael’s in Dumbarton at 6.30 pm on Thursday, June 1.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at the same church at 12pm on Friday, June 2 and he will be buried thereafter at Cardross Cemetery. Father Henry Parkinson was ordained for the Kiltegan Fathers in 1957 and came to Scotland in 1968, from Ireland.
