Earlier this year, Fermanagh brought a motion to GAA Congress seeking for minor finals to be restored as the curtain raiser to the senior deciders but withdrew it after receiving assurances that there would be a suitable fixture played beforehand.

The GAA has announced numerous events that will take place in and around Croke Park ahead of Sunday’s All-Ireland hurling final.

Hosted by Dave McIntyre and with former Clare, Cork and Tipperary hurlers Podge Collins, Eoin Cadogan and John O’Dwyer respectively, the new offering will preview the game and look back on past meetings of Cork and Clare.
