One person said: "Meath in dark green and Kerry in navy isn’t ideal. On the wide-angle shots, it’s quite hard to tell the difference between the teams. Another user commented, "Surely Meath could have gone with the yellow kit. A colour clash isn't great for TV."The match itself was a one-sided affair. Meath committed a string of wides before Kerry started to find their rhythm and pull clear.
Two second-half goals from David Clifford put the icing on the cake for Kerry, who made it two from two in the All-Ireland series after an opening victory over Monaghan. Jack O'Connor's side will be back in action in a fortnight against Louth, while Meath will face Monaghan the same weekend, seeking their first win of the campaign. They previously lost to neighbours Louth.
