Gabriel Jesus has revealed when he’s likely to be back playing for Arsenal AFC
The 25-year-old has netted five goals and recorded seven assists this season.
However, he’s been forced to miss six of Arsenal’s game since the restart following the 2022 World Cup.Jesus suffered a knee injury in Qatar when representing Brazil and his return date has been unclear, with Mikel Arteta recently explaining he expected his striker to be out forNow, though, he’s confirmed a rough timeline for when he could pull on an Arsenal strip again when he bumped into Khabib at the Emirates.
“Maybe about four or five weeks,” Jesus is heard telling Khabib, who had also watched Liverpool’s drab 0-0 draw against Chelsea at the weekend.
But the 23-year-old has more than stepped up to the plate, scoring six since the restart, including two against Man United at the weekend and taking his tally for the season up to nine. Should Nketiah keep impressing for the league leaders, Jesus may have to battle it out with the Gunners starlet for his place in Arteta’s starting XI.
