A real treat for fans of The Goonies.
In terms of the most iconic moments in The Goonies, fans of Richard Donner's cult-classic will probably have strong feelings about the best moment. Is it the very first scene where we're introduced to all the characters during that epic chase? How about the moment that Chunk and Sloth become best friends over a Baby Ruth chocolate bar? Perhaps it's Mouth getting into trouble with the Fratellis by giving them cheek and stating that he wants"a good fettucini alfredo. I want a bottle of fettucine, a 1981" - we'll always love just how cheeky he is.
In this writer's opinion, one moment clearly stands out in the excellent film and it's when Chunk tries to escape from The Fratellis and hails the first car that he finds for some help.Chunk's screams, the sheer glee that the villains get from torturing this young kid, the comedic panic that sets in, and ultimately, the fact that Chunk, yet again, has to come face-to-face with a corpse.
