Fourteen of Galway's All‑Ireland winners are on the TG4 All-Star long list, the highest number of any county, with nominees spanning goalkeeping, defense, midfield and forward positions. Kerry trails with 12 nominees, followed by teams from Armagh, Dublin, Cork, Waterford, Kildare, Mayo and Meath.

The 2026 TG4 All‑Star awards announced a 45‑player long list that sees Galway dominating with 14 nominees, the most of any county, from the 14 winners of the All‑Ireland Senior Ladies Championship final in Croke Park on 2 August 2026.

Goalkeeper Leah O'Halloran was the first to be named, alongside captain and player of the match in the final Kate Geraghty. Defenders Sarah Ní Loingsigh, Brónagh Quinn, Hannah Noone and Nicola Ward also feature on the long list. In midfield, siblings Niamh and Siobhán Divilly received nominations, with their sister Olivia added among the six Galway forwards. The forward group also includes Kate Slevin, Kate Thompson, Leanne Coen, Róisín Leonard and Eva Noone, who is the sister of Hannah.

Kerry follows with 12 nominees, highlighted by goalkeeper Mary Ellen Bolger and defenders Deirdre Kearney, Eilís Lynch, Róisín Rahilly, Emma Costello, Aoife Dillane, and Aishling O'Connell. Their midfield and forward spots are taken by Mary O'Connell, Niamh Carmody, Niamh Ní Chonchúir, Danielle O'Leary, and captain Síofra O'Shea. Armagh, the beaten semi‑finalists, are represented by goalkeeper Brianna Mathers, defenders Emily Druse and captain Lauren McConville, midfielder Blaithín Mackin, and inside forwards Aimee Mackin (Blaithín's sister) and Kelly Mallon.

Dublin, who also reached the semi‑finals before losing to Kerry, has defender Niamh Crowley, midfielder Niamh Hetherton and forward Orlagh Nolan named on the long list. Cork's nominees include defenders Melissa Duggan and Shauna Kelly, and forward ace Katie Quirke. Waterford names defender Karen McGrath and forward Kellyann Hogan, while Kildare's Laoise Lenehan (captain) and Aoife Rattigan are acknowledged. Mayo forwards Aoife Staunton and Sinéad Walsh are also on the list.

Meath's captain Niamh Gallogly, one of four players who earned TG4 All‑Star awards last year, is again short‑listed. The winners will be announced on Saturday 14 November at the Bonnington Dublin Hotel. The long list reflects the depth of talent across all counties, though Galway's 14 nominations confirm its supremacy in the 2026 championship season.
