A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to support a Galway family who lost their entire home and their beloved dog in a house fire.

A family in Galway is asking for help after losing their entire home and all their belongings in a devastating house fire . The incident took place on Monday, December 16th in Kiltullagh and saw the family also sadly lose their cherished family pet - their dog named Daisy. People close to the family put together a GoFundMe in an effort to raise money to support them in putting their home and lives back together over the next few months.

The GoFundMe description reads: “We want to help a very close family member after a devastating house fire. On the afternoon of December 16th, our close family member’s house was destroyed by a house fire. “The entire house has been damaged, all contents and their belongings have been destroyed and will need to be replaced. They have also lost their cherished dog Daisy, in this devastating fire. “We would ask if you could help in any way to assist them with rebuilding their lives over the next couple of months. “Any help would be really appreciated especially as this has happened just before Christmas.
