The festival was due to take place next week

A much-loved music festival which takes place in Galway has been cancelled due to what organisers have said are "unforeseen circumstances".

Scheduled to take place in the Ballinderreen Community Centre next week, the concert was due to feature some well-known country and western stars such as Nashville legend Jim Rooney and popular local musicians such as Seán Keane, Cork’s Mick Daly and Kinvara’s top singer/songwriter, Paul Mulligan.The event was initially planned to take place on Friday, February 24, however, organisers have confirmed that it will now be postponed until Autumn of this year.
