Break from hurling After not making the minor panel, Gearoid took a brief break from hurling and didn’t know if he would resume. "I'd be fairly competitive, so I was playing a lot of sport at the time. I think I was playing five so it was just take your pick time.Amazing career Gearoid first played competitive hurling during his schooling at the Oranmore boys national school where he won two county titles in hurling and football.
