The group sped off after the incident
The 40-year-old was walking on Pollok Avenue alongside a woman when they were approached by a gang of unidentified men at around 11.55pm on June 2.
A disturbance ensued which resulted in the man being injured and taken to hospital for treatment. Following the incident, the gang sped off in a vehicle towards the Hillhouse areaDetective Constable Sarah McNeil said: “Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and anyone with information is asked to come forward.
