One man is detained in Tallaght Garda Station
Gardaí at Tallaght, Dublin 24, have arrested a man in connection with a shooting in Fortunestown, near Citywest, in September 2017.
As of Monday, 25 March, a 22-year-old man is being detained Tallaght Garda Station under the provisions of Section 30 – Offences Against the State Act 1939 in connection with the investigation.The shooting occurred at Fortunestown Lane shortly after 9pm on 18 September in 2017. Gibson received multiple gunshot wounds in the incident and was attended to by paramedics, but died at the scene.
