A man in his early 40s has been rushed to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries following the violent incident in Mayfield this morning
Members of An Garda Siochana are currently at the scene of what is believed to be a serious assault in Co Cork.
The victim has been removed from a house at Annalee Grove in Mayfield, on the north side of Cork city, and brought to Cork University Hospital, where he is currently being treated, a spokeswoman for An Garda Síochána confirmed. The violent incident occurred at approximately 7:45am this morning, Wednesday November 8, outside a residential property, which was also the subject of criminal damage.A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana told The Irish Mirror: "Gardaí are currently at the scene of a criminal damage and assault incident that occurred outside a residential property in Annalee Grove, Mayfield, Cork this morning Wednesday 8th November, 2023 at approximately 7.45am.
