Gardaí have launched an investigation after the discovery of a body of man in the River Liffey on Saturday (2 September).
have launched an investigation following the discovery of a man's body in the River Liffey this morning .The body of the male has since been removed the scene and taken to Dublin City Morgue, where a post mortem will be conducted at a later date.The spokesperson said that the results of the post mortem will determine the course of the Garda investigation.
The East Link Bridge, also known as The Tom Clarke Bridge, is the last bridge on the Liffey before it opens out into Dublin Port.
