A man aged in his 20s was arrested following the seizure of a firearm, while a pedestrian was hospitalised after being struck by a motorcycle
Gardaí are investigating a number of incidents that occurred in Cork earlier this evening, including criminal damage , a hit-and-run collision, and the seizure of a firearm.
The pedestrian was taken to Cork University Hospital but their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening. The motorcyclist and passenger failed to remain at the scene. Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information in relation to these incidents to make contact with investigators. They are also asking road users with footage of the traffic accident to get in touch.
