The man who shot hero Garda Colm Horkan 11 times is staying in the wing along with eight other prisoners, all of whom are suffering from major mental health issues
Garda killer Stephen Silver is being detained in a special psychiatric unit at Mountjoy Prison overseen by staff from the Central Mental Clinic.Among them is an inmate who is due to stand trial shortly for a number of extremely serious crimes.
