Lalita Whelan, 14 years old, has been missing from her home in Drimnagh, Dublin 12 since Friday night, 7 February

Gardaí have launched an urgent search appeal for a missing teenager who is missing from her Dublin home as concern grows for her wellbeing.

Lalita is described as being five foot three inches in height, of slim build, with brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen Lalita was wearing a white tracksuit. A Garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Lalita Whelan, 14 years who is missing from her home in Drimnagh, Dublin 12 since Friday night, 7 February.”
