The victim of a fatal stabbing in Tallaght during the early hours of this morning has been named locally as Jordan Pakenham.
Mr Pakenham was the eldest of four children in a family from the Rossfield area of Tallaght, around a kilometre from the scene of the stabbing. His friends and family have been posting tributes to the young man on social media throughout the day. “God help him, he was a lovely kid,” wrote one person.
Today, one mourner wrote: “Rest in peace , such sad news to wake up to this morning. May God give you the best bed in Heaven. Your up there with Kyle now. Please give your family the strength to get trew this.”
