A man who was stabbed to death in Finglas in Dublin last night has been named locally as 39-year-old Brian Hogan | More:
Mr Hogan, who was from the local area, was found seriously injured at the front garden of a house on Collins Place in Finglas just after 7pm yesterday evening.Gardaí believe the incident happened after a row broke out at the house and spilled out into the garden.The man's body has been removed from the scene for a post-mortem examination.Officers from Finglas Garda Station, where a murder investigation has been launched, have been carrying out door-to-door inquiries.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone with information to contact them. They are particularly appealing to anyone who was in the vicinity of the Collins Place and Ballygall Road West area between 6-7:30pm to contact them. They are also asking those with video footage from these locations at the time, to make it available to them.
