Mr Carroll, a father-of-two who was also known as Marky, was stabbed in a house in the Scribblestown area of Finglas at around 1am on Sunday – and a convicted killer has emerged as the prime suspect
Detectives are tonight still hunting a convicted killer over the murder of young dad Mark Carroll – as friends began raising funds to help his family lay him to rest.
The suspect, who served a prison sentence over a high-profile killing, continues to lie low this evening. News of the hunt for the suspect came as pals started to contribute to the GoFundMe page for Mr Carroll’s family. "We are raising funds to cover the costs of Mark's funeral and to help his family through this difficult period. Any amount you can contribute will be greatly appreciated and will go directly towards funeral expenses, memorial services, and supporting Mark's loved ones as they navigate this heartbreaking time.
