Gardai have issued their official advice as Ireland gets ready to celebrate St Patrick's Day on Sunday. Hundreds of thousands of people are expected to descend on Dublin for the national parade.
There are seven key things everyone attending the national St Patrick’s Day parade in Dublin needs to remember, according to gardai.The parade takes place in Dublin city centre from 12 noon, while smaller events and parades are planned for many towns and villages across Ireland.
“We want everyone to have a brilliant time with family and friends, so please look out for one another and don’t hesitate to call on us should you need our help.” Further advice has been issued to those heading out to socialise over the St Patrick’s bank holiday weekend:
