Gardai thank local community after missing 12-year-old Dublin boy Liam Goodwin found safe
Gardai have thanked a South Dublin community after a 12-year-old missing boy was found safe and well last night.A massive search was launched for the first year Holy Family Community School student who was wearing his uniform and had no jacket, money or phone.
Following a search that included the Civil Defence and members of the public, Liam was found safe and well last night, Dublin Live reports. A garda spokesperson said: "Liam has been located safe and well and has been reunited with his family, An Garda Síochána and Liam’s family would like to thank each and every person who shared the post on social media, the Civil Defence and all the members of the public who assisted."
Chief Superintendent Finbarr Murphy added: " I would like to sincerely thank everyone in Rathcoole and the surrounding community for their wonderful response to our call for assistance this evening in finding Liam."I also want to thank everyone throughout the country who shared the information on the various social media platforms.Our Irish Mirror Sports Page - which brings you all your Irish and UK sports news - can be found here.
