There will be road closures, Luas stoppages and travel restrictions in place as Team Ireland return from Paris
Gardaí have warned the public of a number of road closures and travel restrictions in place as Ireland welcomes home Team Ireland from the Paris 2024 Olympics to Dublin .
Thousands are expected to pack into O’Connell Street, where the city council has organised an event to celebrate their success, the first time an Olympic team has received a civic reception in Ireland upon their return. The fully free event held to honour the athletes and their achievements, with no ticketing required, will take place outside the GPO on O’Connell Street, but there will be a number of travel restrictions in place.
