Monty Don, the star of Gardeners' World, has revealed that he has a secret code with producers to help him escape when he gets mobbed by fans. Since becoming the main presenter of BBC show Gardeners' World in 2003, Monty has amassed a large fan base. However, this can sometimes be more of a hindrance than a benefit.
And we always have a code word which basically means 'get me out of here now'. And that code word is: 'What time do we have to be there?'' Monty also spoke candidly about how he manages his ridiculously busy schedule. The 69-year-old told the podcast: 'Once every three weeks I get nearly two weeks free so I can whizz off to Spain and film something. It has to be fitted in around Gardeners' World.
