Ex-England striker Gary Lineker Gary Lineker has advised Arsenal to sign wantaway Brentford striker Ivan Toney to boost their Premier League title hopes. Mikel Arteta’s side, runners-up for the past two seasons, made an impressive start to the new season, beating Wolves 2-0 thanks to goals from Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka. Speaking after the opening win, Arteta suggested Arsenal would not be signing a new striker before the transfer window shuts despite being linked with several attackers.
