The Allerdene Bridge which spans the East Coast main line will offer new lanes for motorists
From 1 September, Allerdene Bridge will open to drivers but initially only for those leaving the carriageway at junction 67 . The road bridge at Allerdene follows earlier work to create a third lane on the A1 from the Coal House junction to the Metrocentre
