They dreamt of having a fake ceremony for years and legally got married in Dublin

Alina and Uliana lived together for ten years in Kiev, but were unable to tell people they were a couple.

The couple shared that they believe their families have probably guessed they’re in a relationship, however, they never spoke about it with them.Uliana first met Alina when she messaged her on an internet website. They decided to go for tea and chatted to each other for hours.Alina told RSVP Live: “Because of the war we came to Ireland it is too dangerous in Ukraine now. Our parents don’t want to leave.

Uliana’s parents are also in Ukraine and don't want to leave either. She shared: “We are so grateful to the Irish country and people we are very safe.” Alina and Uliana tied the knot on 16 November at a Dublin registration office and shared how they “never imagined it would be possible to get married”.
