Kneecap pay tribute to father of member Móglái Bap ahead of Belfast concert
Sat Dec 21 2024 - 16:50He died at the Royal Hospital in his native Belfast on Friday after a short illness.
He is survived by his wife Bríd, and sons Ainle, Cairbre, and Naoise, otherwise known as Móglái Bap of rap group “There can be no denying the incredible influence and impact Gearóid had on the Irish language movement, not only in Belfast, but throughout the country. He leaves behind him an undeniable legacy that will be an immense source of inspiration for us all throughout the future. Go raibh míle maith agat, a Ghearóid agus suaimhneas síoraí ort.”
