Gemma Arterton has claimed she and her co-star were put in an awkward position while filming the unnamed project

Renowned actress Gemma Arterton has described an ordeal she suffered while filming, which left one of her fellow actors mortified.

“I’d never have accepted the role if it was going to be filmed. He put pressure on us on the day. The other actor, God bless him, was mortified. There were very high-profile people there. I said, ‘You can’t do that, I’m flat out not doing it’.” Gemma’s comments come as she continues to promote her latest film, The Critic, in which she stars alongside Sir Ian McKellen.
