The 38-year-old, from Bury, recalled the message during a recent Hits Radio drivetime show with her co-host Mike Toolan
Gemma Atkinson saw the funny side as she shared how she had been told NOT to marry her fiance Gorka Marquez from one of her social media followers. It appears the fan got the wrong idea when it came to the radio presenter's relationship with the Strictly Come Dancing star.
Gemma then proceeded to explain: "You know how on social media you always have now and again, come across, they call them a troll. I get some which I find quite funny so I always send it to the group [chat]." Confirming the message was sent on Instagram, she wen on to read it out.
Former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star Gemma agreed and replied: "I said yesterday he's desperate to come home. He's even looked at changing his flight to come home early. But because on the 'Gram he's put a picture of a beach , he's 'enjoying himself' and I'm 'struggling'." It comes after Gemma clapped back at one of those messages she received after posting a racy throwback snap. She was sharing how she was looking forward to the new Pamela Anderson documentary coming to Netflix and found of photo from her calendar days when she used the Baywatch icon as her insperation.
