EXCLUSIVE: Gemma Collins has revealed that a parasite was found in her fiance, Rami Hawash's stomach, leading the businessman's torso to 'blow up' during the ordeal
Gemma Collins is feeling better than ever, since starting a health kick and taking on a high-fibre diet plan, Fibre First by health guru Steve Bennett, and she has brought fiancé Rami along for the journey, too.
Talking exclusively to OK! this week, Gemma explained: "Rami actually had a parasite in his stomach a little while ago, he’s super slim and his stomach just blew up. So, he was like, ‘Oh my God, what’s going on’. He got all these tests and they found it was a parasite, so we’re all doing Fibre First and it’s gone now. He’s on a super healthy one now.”
“Before, I was a bit ‘furious’ because everything I tried just wasn’t working. Now, I’m feeling much more relaxed and I love myself more than ever - I’m actually feeling real, wholesome and love for my body. And the more you love your body, the more it’s going to love you back.” Gemma and Rami even have the latter's son, six-year-old Tristan, involved on the Fibre First diet, with the TOWIE star explaining: “Tristan used to ask for chocolate and I’d give it to him but now he’s gone off it. In our house, we get up and make a fibre chocolate smoothie so he’s getting that taste without it damaging him. If I was a mum, I wouldn’t give my kids chocolate."
