Two members of Georgia's two-time national champion college football team were killed in a car crash early Sunday morning, the university confirmed in a statement.
LeCroy was the driver of a 2021 Ford Expedition traveling southbond in the outside lane of Barnett Shoals Road when the vehicle left the roadway, striking two power poles and several trees, according to a statement from Athens-Clarke County police who responded at 2:45 a.m.
Police said a 21-year old male passenger sustained minor injuries and a 26-year old female passenger sustained serious injuries. LeCroy was a leadership graduate of Toccoa-Stephens County High and a “Double Dawg,” with a graduate of masters in sport management and policy at UGA, according to her LinkedIn page.
