Colleyville's Clean Sweep event on March 5 will let residents clean house and get rid of electronics, documents and bulk trash.

The event is Colleyville’s annualThe one-stop drop-off event will include five stations: The Crud Cruiser, electronics recycling, document shredding, bulk/brush trash and tire recycling.

The event is free for Colleyville residents with proof of residency, and runs from 9 to 11 a.m. in the south parking lot at City Hall. Residents are asked to stay in their cars at the collection location. Personnel will remove waste from the vehicles. Organizers say only the first 50 households will be guaranteed access to the Crud Cruiser, a popular station which has designated compartments for different types of hazardous waste. In the past, the station has seen line of cars there as early as two hours before opening.
