Giovanni Pernice 'at war' with BBC as he fights Strictly abuse allegations

Following accusations of 'abuse' from former celebrity partners, Strictly Come Dancing star Giovanni Pernice has reportedly lined-up a laywer to help him fight the allegations

Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice has reportedly employed lawyers to help clear his name following allegations of abuse.

A spokesperson for Giovanni told The Sun that a lawyer is acting on his behalf - and confirmed the BBC are investigating. “As with any reality TV show, when decisions are being made for entertainment reasons, the producers have a duty of care to all participants.”This comes after the reports that the BBC bosses are going through hundreds of hours of training footage following allegations against the dancer.

He continued: "Those who have followed my journey on Strictly Come Dancing over the last decade will know that I am passionate and competitive. No-one is more ambitious for my dance partners than me.
