Damia Ezell died at a Toledo hospital following the shooting, according to reports.
Police tell WTVG that White was driving at about 1 p.m. Saturday with his niece inside the vehicle when a dark-colored vehicle drove up. Someone in the other vehicle opened fire on White’s vehicle, police say.
“It is so unfortunate that a child was murdered today in broad daylight by individuals or [an] individual that is sitting somewhere going on with their life,” Toledo City Councilwoman Vanice Williams tells WTOL. “You are a despicable person and deserve whatever karma has waiting for you. “I send my condolences to the family and I am here for you.
